that thin line

theres always this thin line for everything. for starters, envy vs jealousy. we all know how jealousy is a mutated form of envy but somehow we cant seem to find a solution that ensures that the envy we feel doesnt mutate.

ever had that moment when u wish someone all the best, but deep down inside theres this voice in you that's always wishing that the best is the best of the worst? haha, that irony.

taking a step back to see how my life is now, i find myself truly blessed. fair enough there are some parts where i wished i could be more blessed (eg: a bigger monthly allowance sum, more cash for shopping, more shops with shoes my size!!!!) but i do know im already quite blessed..

• my parents have brought me up to be an independent woman being able to make sound decisions
• my siblings who actually allow me to practise my leadership qualities (if i do have any) and letting me have playmates for life, teaching me new stuff (being a teenager, yes, im an old teenager i realise) and jus being there for me. sometimes that birthday wish from my computer gamer freak brother jus does do the trick for me - i dont need no fancy presents.
• my friends make up my environment and they also determine how i shall continue growing, equiping me with social skills, teaching me how to be a good listener and giving me advice when i feel that ive reached a dead end (no doubt, ive got some that introduced some vices like mahjong-ing to me)
• my dearest boyfriend of coming to 4 years. he seems to be the only one whom im willing to hear all my bad points about and yet i wonder how much he loves me despite those flaws i have. he's helped me grown in many ways and i really appreciate it. he's also slowly making improvements and becoming less of an old man. he asked me out for a date to the beach supposedly next week - a subtle hint that i have to start exercising for my body!!!!?

anyway, we had celebrated song's birthday today. it was really good seeing old friends and still being able to relate to them despite having complete paths in life. doesnt it speak so much of my adaptability? haha :D yea, self praise. once more, HAPPY 21st SEE SONG!

also, the zoo trip was a success. the company was awesome and its been a long time since i visited the zoo! heh. pictures will be up soonest!
